Mum cant stand dads exhaust on the V70R, she just never gets in it anymore. He thinks she is crazy, as do I.

My wife doesn't like my car, either. She doesn't like the color, she thinks it's too small, she thinks it is way too loud (MazdaSpeed catback exhaust), and thinks it is too "sensitive." When asked what that meant, she said she just barely taps the gas and it roars off like a rocket and she barely steps on the brake and it stops immediately. I'm like...these are virtues, not detractors.

Hence why my car has such low mileage. Any and every trip we take is done in wife's car since she doesn't like mine. :-)

My gf likes driving my 135is but she ends up going way faster than she realizes and is a little afraid she's going to mess it up. She's yet to drive my Jeep, she's not a fan of driving big vehicles. But she likes riding in it because it's comfy.

My wife neglected to tell me she hated the '11 Malibu I bought as a family hauler last year, until AFTER we bought it. I was not pleased. Of course, I ended up hating that unreliable POS too, so it's gone now.

tough situation -

I believe folks in general, (and perhaps especially women,) make judgments about vehicles purely on looks. But that can be changed with a bit of attitude. My wife never really liked my little Mazda3 hatch, which I normally drive rather conservatively - until one afternoon when we were stuck in traffic, late for an important appointment and I showed her what it felt like to fly through Seattle at something at just a touch higher than the posted limit. "Honey - we can do this. All the cops are stuck directing traffic - just close your eyes for ten minutes. Give me ten minutes." Made it with 4 minutes to spare and she got out of the car smiling.

Get something you like and enjoy it.
